COST & AID
As an international student at the University of Arizona, you have access to merit-based scholarships and other scholarships for international students. If you will be seeking an undergraduate degree, you can also still take advantage of the UA’s Guaranteed Tuition Program, ensuring you have fixed tuition costs for eight consecutive semesters.
The University of Arizona helps students estimate costs like tuition, fees, books, living expenses, and required health insurance.
As a state-assisted public institution, the University of Arizona generally cannot administer need-based financial aid to international students. Unless awarded a merit-based scholarship, international students should plan to pay the entire cost of attending the UA.
In recognition for students who exhibit an outstanding academic performance, the University of Arizona offers the International Tuition Award which offers $4,000 - $35,000 per academic year for freshman OR $5,000 per academic year for transfer students. A limited number of merit-based scholarships may be awarded to admitted students for Fall 2019.
International students may be eligible for merit-based scholarships and other scholarships for international students or tuition waiver programs from your home country. There are also international student loan programs available in the US.Learn about the International Tuition Award Learn about scholarships and loans for international students
